Right Click on the video timeline and click on the “Unlink” audio and video button. It is a button/function you find on the right-click menu. The video will the then split into an audio part and a video part.

You may now retry installing. Another reason may be that QuickTime has not been installed correctly and PowerDirector can’t install because of this.
CyberLink PowerDirector was built to run on Windows 7, Windows XP and Windows Vista. Windows 10 has a compatibility tool. Select the option that says, “This program used to work on an older version of Windows.” When given the option, select Windows 7, XP or Vista.
The reason why you are unable to upload videos onto your YouTube page is because YouTube uses a MIME string format. To fix this problem you, will need to install and update the most recent version of CyberLink PowerDirector and hopefully that will do the trick.
If the DVD is an unlocked or Region 0 DVD, then you may easily capture content from it. However, most commercial DVDs have copyright protection, and you are unable to capture content from these.
